What to Expect When You Join Us for Dinner

 

The world of dining is seeing a broad array of changes as we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. It has altered many aspects of how we spend time together and celebrate the great meals in life. With the new guidelines, from both Napa County and California, we have shifted our entire dining room outside to the Madrone Lawn, adjacent to The Restaurant. Here you'll get the same experience, but in an entirely new, never before seen setting; surrounded by pine trees and under a big blue sky.
 
Please find below the processes we are undertaking to ensure the safety of our guests and staff:
 
- Arriving & Departing the Property
The gatehouse attendant at the entrance of Meadowood Napa Valley will direct The Restaurant guests to our parking area. Transportation options may be limited. If you would like assistance in coordinating third-party transportation options, please contact our Maître d', Tiffany Spurgeon.
 
- Arrival at The Restaurant
Due to the most recent regulations in Napa County, we are currently unable to provide valet service. There is ample parking available at the entrance to The Restaurant and in the main parking area of the hotel.
We continue to ask all our guests to adhere to our 15-minute grace period policy for reservations. We are not accepting any last minute or walk-in guests and we expect that all our available tables will be utilized each evening. For this reason, we will not be able to seat parties that join us after the grace period.
We have limited our reservation capacity so that every party has a designated arrival time to minimize any unnecessary congregating.
We love our Bar and we know our guests do too. We would love for you to enjoy a cocktail before you start your meal. As we've moved our entire dining room outdoors, and are unable to offer service inside, any cocktails enjoyed before dinner will be offered at your table, under the pine trees and blue skies.
 
- Face Masks and Sanitation
Our staff have all been recently tested. We are continuing to monitor our team’s health with daily temperature checks and being vigilant about personal health.
The entire staff of The Restaurant will be in masks throughout the duration of service.
Hand sanitizer is available for guests in our restrooms and throughout The Restaurant. We can also provide hand sanitizer tableside should you require it.
Even though our dining room is outdoors, it is being thoroughly cleaned before, during, and after every service in accordance with all current standards.
We encourage all our guests to be vigilant about their own personal health. All guests will be asked to wear appropriate face coverings when not actively eating, and when arriving or departing The Restaurant. If a guest needs a mask upon arrival, we will gladly provide one.
 
- Service and Beverage Selection
There will be limited execution of tableside dining elements given the current regulations. That being said, our guests will continue to receive the highest level of service and hospitality.
Our dining room layout has been modified to accommodate the necessary spacing per California’s opening guidelines. Our tables are spaced with at least six feet between every diner.
To ensure the most seamless evening possible for our guests, and to comply with the single-use menu requirements, we are encouraging our guests to make beverage selections prior to their reservation. Our Wine List is updated daily and can be found on our website for your perusal. Please let our team of sommeliers know how we can best assist in selecting beverages for the night. If you prefer something specific, or would like to discuss anything in detail, please contact our Wine Director, Micah Clark.
 
- Billing
Our billing process for the end of the evening remains the same. We will collect a credit card and require a signature, for credit cards and room charges, at the completion of the meal.
